What is Little Write Brain?

Little Write Brain is a publishing and education company that aims to instill a passion for reading, writing and storytelling in children through the use of our proprietary online book creation tools.

The company was founded by Chicago-area parents. Disenchanted with the commercialization and simplification of children’s books in regular bookstores, they decided to create a company that empowers young children to create their own storybooks that truly reflect their one-of-a-kind families and personal experiences.

How does the Character Builder work?

The Character Builder is a feature that allows you to create highly personalized main characters that will populate your storybooks. You have the ability to create delightful images that are representative of yourself, classmates, siblings, parents and grandparents. Use the Character Builder feature to change the hair color, eye color, skin tone, and outfits of your personalized characters. Name and save these characters to be used in the storybooks.

How does the Story Builder work?

The Story Builder allows you to create a truly unique storybook in which the plot and illustrations are entirely customizable. Select a storybook from a wide choice of story themes. You can develop the plot line by selecting various options throughout the storybook. In addition, storybooks can be saved and finished at a later time.

My child comes from a non-traditional household. Are your storybooks flexible enough to reflect our unique family?

Of course! We at Little Write Brain firmly believe that children feel empowered when they take pride in their individuality. Our interactive storybook creation software allows children to develop one-of-a-kind stories that are truly reflective of their unque backgrounds. All families - traditional, single-parent, multiracial, children raised by grandparents, adoptive parents, single-sex parents, etc. will enjoy the storybooks offered by Little Write Brain.
